Cranbrook House & Gardens in Bloomfield Hills is the best Spring backdrop for engagement photos. Everything has just turned green (especially after all the rain we’ve had this year!) and all of the flowers have started to bloom. And did I mention, it’s peony season!? Give me all the peonies.

Haley & Matt are getting married this winter at the Colony Club in Detroit. I am so glad we were able to get an engagement session in before their wedding so I could have a chance to get to know them a little bit more before the wedding day. Since Haley and Matt went to Cranbrook for school, they decided it would be a perfect location to do their engagement photos. Cranbrook’s House & Gardens are absolutely breathtaking and it sure did not disappoint. I swear we could’ve walked around that place for a whole day and kept shooting!
