I met Angela and Mike around this time last year and I loved them from our very first meeting. They are honestly the sweetest couple ever and you can see they just love each other so much. I’ve been looking forward to their wedding day since the day they booked me, and I am so sad that it’s actually over already! The Royal Park Hotel is such a classic and elegant venue, so you can imagine my excitement for shooting there. It sure did not disappoint, especially with such an amazing couple! What more could a photographer ask for?! I really do have the best job.

Angela and Mike’s ceremony was at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Grosse Pointe. Mike’s uncle is actually the priest who married them, how cool is that?! Angela wore a beautiful dress by Essence of Australia and her veil was made by her mother. It’s these small little details that truly make a wedding day so special.

After the ceremony it started to rain, but it cleared up with just enough time to take portraits! We took portraits around downtown Rochester and the Royal Park, and we even stopped at Rochester Mills Beer Company for a few photos since that was where Angela and Mike went on their first date!
