This session has left me nearly speechless and it is definitely one of my new favorite engagement sessions. Kate and I have been friends for a long time, and I am so excited for her and Mike to be getting married next summer!

I am working on a little project so I asked if they would be willing to help and, thankfully, they said yes! The session took place Downtown Detroit at the DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts) which is one of my absolute favorite locations. The white marble architecture is so classic and timeless that it makes for such an elegant backdrop. Kate and Mike’s outfits were perfect for the location…and I totally need that skirt in my closet now hahha! As a photographer, sometimes it is important to do a personal project for yourself and this left me so inspired.

I had the hardest time narrowing down these photos, but I am not upset about it at all. Kate and Mike truly brought my vision to life and it makes me so excited to see these photos and the direction my brand is going! Thank you both for such a fun evening and for helping me out, I wish you nothing but happiness!!
