Kendyl + Paul | Classic Michigan State University Themed Wedding

Kendyl and Paul met at Michigan State University, so it was only fitting that they tie MSU into their wedding day! We actually took their engagement photos on campus last year too! The Maid of Honor even incorporated the MSU Fight Song into her speech! You are probably expecting this wedding to be green everywhere you look, but Kendyl and Paul added a hint of MSU into their wedding in such a classy, subtle way. Kendyl’s bridesmaids wore beautiful, long, green dresses while Paul’s groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos with green bowties. How clever is that?! The color was perfect for a September wedding in addition to having a special meaning to the bride and groom.

The ceremony took place at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Mt. Clemens. I absolutely love shooting in old churches; there is just a beauty in them that you don’t see often nowadays. After the ceremony we had a TON of time for portraits (every photographer’s dream!) so this blog post is extra long and filled with all kinds of beauty!

It actually makes me sad that Kendyl and Paul’s wedding is over! I feel like we just met up to talk about their wedding plans and it has already come and gone. Kendyl and Paul, thank you SO much for having me as your wedding photographer. I wish you so much happiness!!! Xoxo
