I always encourage my couples to do an engagement session with me because it gives us a chance to work together before the wedding; almost like a practice run..well, for portraits at least hahah! This is the main reason I now include an engagement session in my wedding package! Even if you don’t want to use the photos for save the dates or anything like that, it is a great way for us to get to know each other a little bit better and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera and with my style. Because believe me, I HATE being in front of the camera myself (weird for a photographer to say, right?), so I know how nerve wrecking it can feel the first time around.

If you have been following me for a while, you may recognize Genna and Matt because they did a mini session with me last fall before they were even engaged! We all knew it was coming soon 😉 They were great in front of the camera the first time around but, come their wedding day next October, they will be pros because we have already had a few opportunities to work together! This time around, their adorable puppy Levvy joined us for some photos as well!

Genna and Matt are so fun to be around and you can tell just how much they really love each other. I am so excited for them and cannot wait for their wedding next fall!
