Detroit has come a long way and serves as such a classic backdrop for photos…especially when it SNOWS! I knew it was going to be cold for Amanda and Tony’s engagement session, but I didn’t know that we would get the most perfect snow right out of a snow globe. People get stressed and worried when they hear the words snow and rain with photography. Most think of it as a bad thing, but honestly I couldn’t disagree more! Rainy and snowy photos have quickly become some of my favorites, and you will see why below 😉

Amanda and Tony were troopers and braved the cold with me for their engagement session. I’m so glad we didn’t decide to reschedule due to the weather, because the day turned out to be so perfect! I may have not been able to feel my fingers by the end of their session, but I promise it was worth it hahaha!

Amanda and Tony actually lived downtown Detroit for about 3 years, so taking their photos there had more meaning than just a pretty city.
