Kristen and Michael have been in front of my camera a handful of times before their wedding day, so it’s no surprise that they were professionals by the time their wedding rolled around 😉 I actually had the honor of photographing Michael’s proposal to Kristen! Fast forward almost exactly one year to the date and Kristen and Michael are married! The whole day was absolutely beautiful, and the rain didn’t bother these two one bit! Honestly, if it rains on your wedding day, all you can do is embrace it. You can’t change the weather, so there is no use in stressing about it. You are marrying your best friend and that is the most important thing to remember on your wedding day.
Kristen and Michael had an absolutely beautiful wedding in an airplane hanger on Grosse Isle. The rain didn’t allow us to take portraits until after dinner, but it was SO worth the wait. The airport runway served as an incredible backdrop for photos, and the sun even peeked out for a little bit and brought us a rainbow!
