Alex and Paul met while working at Boston’s as a bartender and hostess so it only made sense to take some of their engagement photos where it all began! I love when couples incorporate locations that are meaningful to them.

After taking a few photos at the restaurant, we headed to Alex’s grandparent’s lake house. This house is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and has some gorgeous views! Alex and Paul live on the water themselves and love the lake so this was another perfect location for them.

Oh and in the process of taking these photos I was almost attacked by a swan….true story. It was literally hissing at me!! No worries, we all made it out without a swan attack and the photos turned out so sweet. I cannot wait to photograph Alex and Paul’s wedding this September!!
