I remember the first time Christine emailed me inquiring about her original wedding date for August 2018. But, life happens, and due to some job changes and relocating the wedding had to be postponed for a later date. Fast forward to June 2019, and Christine and Josiah were finally able to tie the knot with a beautiful peach and coral wedding in Grand Rapids, Michigan!
Christine and Josiah were surrounded by their closest family and friends for a beautiful ceremony at Blyethefield Christian Reformed Church in Rockford, Michigan. Following the ceremony was a romantic garden themed reception at Thousand Oaks golf course in Grand Rapids to celebrate the newlyweds. I say this often, but I truly feel that the people around you on your wedding day are really show what kind of people you are. Both families and the bridal party were wonderful to work with and made our job so enjoyable.
Christine and Josiah shared an intimate first look before their ceremony, but not without a little prank first! Josiah’s best man teamed up with Christine to pull a little prank on Josiah before Christine came out for the first look. Just wait until you see his reaction!
I always love when a couple is willing to step out during the reception for some extra photos during sunset. All of the stress from the day is finally over as all of the main events have already taken place. The couple can finally relax and enjoy themselves. And, of course, nothing beats that golden hour light!
I am so grateful that Christine and Josiah choose me as their wedding photographer. Meeting wonderful couples and building relationships is really what makes this business so rewarding. Christine and Josiah, we wish you both so much happiness and I hope our paths cross again soon <3
