I remember the first time I met with Jennifer and Matias thinking how sweet of a couple they were, so I was super excited when they had decided to book me! It was the perfect way to spend the last day of summer. The weather called for rain and strong winds, but instead the sun decided to come out and ended up being a beautiful day for a wedding! You never know what you’re going to get in Michigan.
Jennifer and Matias got ready for their big day in downtown Detroit. We then headed over to Grosse Pointe United Methodist Church for a beautiful marriage ceremony. The church had an amazing garden where we were able to spend some time taking portraits. When it was time for the reception, we made our way to The Grosse Pointe War Memorial for a few more portraits before the bride and groom made their grand entrance. The War Memorial is an absolutely stunning venue with beautiful architecture and it overlooks the blue water of Lake St. Clair.
It was very evident how loved Jennifer and Matias are by all of their family and friends. Everyone was so happy the entire day and had the biggest smiles on their faces (unless tears of joy snuck in of course ;))
Jennifer and Matias, thank you SO much for choosing me to capture your big day. I am so grateful that our paths crossed and I hope you enjoy reliving your day through this little sneak peek. I can’t wait for you to see the full gallery!
