Katie & Michael had the most beautiful summer wedding at the Carriage House at Pine Knob in early August. This was actually my first time at the venue and I have to say, it is definitely a new favorite! The grounds are have a secret garden feel and are absolutely stunning for photos. You’ll see what I’m talking about once you see their portraits 😉
Katie’s bridesmaids wore blush pink dresses while Michael’s groomsmen looked dapper in blue tuxes. The perfect combination for a summer wedding! Katie & Michael had a large bridal party which shows just how important their friends and family are to them. It always makes for a fun time when you are surrounded by the most important people to you on your wedding day.
As for their reception favors, Katie and Michael actually made and bottled their own homemade wine; how cool is that?! I love when couples put a personal touch on details. It seems like there are so many things that need to be done during the wedding planning process, so finding the time to make something personal for their guests is a detail that doesn’t go unnoticed.
The newlyweds danced their first dance to a song sung by the Michael’s father. What a special way to include family and do something different than the norm!
Mr. & Mrs. Carroll, I hope you had the best day ever. I loved being able to capture your genuine happiness and love for each other and I am so grateful to have been a part of your big day!
